Product ElectricalEngineer Weir Specialty Pumps, a worldwide leader in the pump manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a Product Electrical Engineer for its Salt Lake City facility. Primary Responsibilities Develop innovative, cost effective technology packages that can be incorporated into existing & new products, capable of interfacing with customer control systems. Strong understanding of immersible and submersible motor technologies, Variable Frequency drives, Switch Reluctance drives, controllers, accessories, programming and trouble-shooting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and three or more years of related work experience is required. Knowledge of electrical motors, NEMA, IEC, SR technology, VFD, Controllers, circuits & wiring required. Experience with computer programming, Lab View, Ladder Logic, PLC, and trouble shooting required. Experience with engineering drawings, GD&T, mechanical systems, vibration, and rotating equipment desired.
